We publish contemporary poetry books and anthologies in English. Our list is eclectic, our intention to capture the spirit of our time through the vital art of poetry. For fifteen years, we have awarded the annual FutureCycle Poetry Book Prize with honorarium for the best original volume of poetry published by us. Our Selected Poems series highlights contemporary poets with a substantial body of work. Our Good Works projects—anthologies to benefit charity—showcase individual works. In short: We are a small press determined to look like a big one.

Quality

Some of the best poets writing today are represented in our catalog. We collaborate with our authors to make our titles the best they can be, and we do take our editorial role very seriously. We pride ourselves on our skill and the care we give the books we publish—in both print-on-demand and Kindle editions.

Availability

In a world where poetry is both ubiquitous and unlikely to be profitable, we strive to keep our titles in print and widely available. Poetry matters so much, we believe, that we give away all of our titles free in Kindle format on a rotating basis! Both we and our authors have worked very hard on these books, and we want everyone to be able to read them.

The Guide answers many questions those considering submitting to us may have. (We only accept submissions through Submittable, and only for what we are asking for at any given time, so please understand that any non-compliant submissions must be ignored.)
