Info for Authors

We know authors have better things to do than read our website, but you would be wise to review our Guidelines tab, briefly summarized here. We accept submissions only through Submittable during our July to December open reading period; any emailed submissions will be ignored. A modest, nonrefundable reading fee is required for book manuscripts only; accepted original poetry book submissions are automatically considered for the FutureCycle Poetry Book Prize in the year published. Authors whose books we have published are eligible for unlimited deep discounts on their own and our other authors’ books. The Guide for Authors—essential reading for anyone whose book manuscript we accept—answers many questions and provides valuable insight into how we work.
